The Amour, radiates romance and elegance through its French modern design concept. Located in the affluent suburb of Salter Point, The Amour is a Parisian residence with a modern twist. We spoke to WB Innovation and New Product Designer, Joseph Calasara about his inspiration. “The Amour was inspired by a modern Parisian apartment,” he said. “French design is synonymous with elegance and style and this home is romantic, effortless and designed for an affluent lifestyle.”
A standout from the streetscape, the home flaunts a monochromatic façade, featuring simple charcoal lines to contrast, steel awnings and Juliet balconies that catch the eye, setting the Parisian scene from the first moment, giving you the ambience of strolling along the streets in the famous, city of love.
With a family lifestyle in mind, Joseph wanted to create a home with sufficient space and privacy. Each bedroom is tucked away from the home’s centre, separating downtime from the everyday hustle and bustle.
“The Amour was designed to cater to families,” he said. “The upper floor is dedicated to the master suite, with the rest of the bedrooms downstairs. There is an expansive open-plan living space in the centre of the home that extends to the decadent alfresco, making this a perfect house for families who love to entertain.”
