They say the best compliment is repeat business. Needless to say we were delighted when this extended family sought out our customisation expertise for a third time.

With a large block in the western suburbs in Perth, the need was evident for an unrivalled design to match its prestigious locale as well as the distinctive dynamics of the young family who would call it home.

Looking inwards from the street, the resulting custom-built home is a masterpiece with magnetic appeal, with a wide frontage and ultra-contemporary elevation. Floating eves and frameless silicone join corners were carefully specified to give the elevation a ‘floating effect’.

The expansive elegance of the design is also beautifully realised within, as two storey voids capture towering views of pools and the tennis court. A floating staircase provides grand passage to the upstairs living quarters, with a glass balustrade adding to the effect so that the upper level appears to ‘hover’ above the ground floor.

Upstairs, three voluminous bedrooms are each serviced by their very own ensuite, with the master suite carefully separated to create the perfectly secluded sanctuary, complete with virtually floor-to-ceiling windows that allow greenery aspects from both the master bedroom and ensuite.

For a family with two young girls, effortless cooking and entertaining were also paramount. A dedicated home theatre with two levels enables uninterrupted viewing, while the deluxe kitchen is a definite standout statement of the home, featuring extensive cabinetry, feature pendant lights, beautiful use of glass and stone plus a scullery tucked neatly next to the kitchen to keep unclean dishes out of sight.

To ensure that all visiting guests feel right at home, the guest bedroom enjoys its own study and aspects out to the street.
